Pleasant View's Ministries

We at Pleasant View Baptist are so happy you are visiting with us today!  We are a church committed to the Word of God and salvation though the Cross of Jesus Christ.  We hope you feel welcome and at home here and will find a place to serve as well as be nourished by our ministries.

Heartlife

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in."  Matthew 25:35

HeartLife serves as a vehicle providing assistance to selected applicants in need of food and clothing.  We believe the whole person must be cared for before you can truly lead someone to Jesus Christ.

 

This ministry therefore sees to the applicants’ physical needs by providing good nutritional foods and gently used clothing donated by the community and local merchants.

Sunday School

Pleasant View provides religious education for attendees of all ages rooted firmly in the following three pillars:

​

  • Belief:  We believe in a living God.  He has a will for how we live and grow; we seek His will for this congregation and depend upon His strength. 

  • The Bible: We realize that we know what we know about God and salvation only through His Word. 

  • Prayer:  Since God is living and has revealed Himself in the Scriptures, we can and must talk with Him.  We must open our lives to His leading

Bible Study

To foster growth and development as Christians, Pleasant View Baptist is committed to encouraging regular Bible reading.  We gather on Wednesdays for an in-depth examination of a particular book or topic.  Please join us for this invaluable time of fellowship, prayer, and study!
